After installing a fresh lenny base installation I installed apache2, php5 and phpsysinfo using aptitude install xxx I verified php is working by creating a simple php page in /var/www While troubleshooting I tested the follwing scenarios http://domain.com/phpsysinfo - prompts me to download php file http://domain.com/phpsysinfo/index.php - prompts me to download index.php http://domain.com/phpsysinfo/index.php?disp=dynamic - works!
