The problem is solved !

In fact, it was a problem of compatibility between the 2.6.26 kernel and my RTL8111 network interface. I realized it as I found there was a huge amount of dropped frames on the NIC.

After some searches, I found that the 2.6.26 kernel (the one of Lenny) is using a wrong NIC driver for RTL8111. I've also found on some Ubuntu forum how to replace the faulty driver by the official driver from Realtek. Once done, everything is back to normal. Mt-daapd is running fine as it was before, serving all the Roku Soundbridge with no glitch.

For whoever having this problem, I've done a small guide explaining how to solve it on Lenny or Squeeze :

Thanks so much for your help, and sorry for all the trouble.

Cheers.
