Package: linux-sound-base Version: 1.0.17.dfsg-4 Severity: normal Hi,
when selecting Alsa or OSS in linux-sound-base, a different config file is linked from /lib/linux-sound-base to /etc/modprobe.d. The files in /lib/l-s-b ends in .conf but the symlinks don't. Since the new module-init-tools, modprobe spits a lot of warnings but the files in modprobe.d don't end in .conf, so it'd be nice if the symlinks could be renamed. WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/linux-sound-base_noOSS, it will be ignored in a future release.
