Sorry for not replying earlier! I missed your email between a bunch of others. Open MPI is currently not very well maintained, unfortunately. Thanks a lot for the heads-up! If you're using unstable and have a strong need for the patch, I would consider backporting it. But I'd prefer to wait for the new upstream release, since the next upload probably needs to be coordinated with other maintainers. Just let me know. Best regards Manuel
