* Package name : libtest-www-mechanize-catalyst-perl Version : 0.50 Upstream Author : Ash Berlin <a...@cpan.org> (current maintiner) * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Test-WWW-Mechanize-Catalyst/ * License : Artistic/GPL Programming Lang: Perl Description : Test::WWW::Mechanize for Catalyst Catalyst is an elegant MVC Web Application Framework. Test::WWW::Mechanize is a subclass of WWW::Mechanize that incorporates features for web application testing. The Test::WWW::Mechanize::Catalyst module meshes the two to allow easy testing of Catalyst applications without starting up a web server. . Testing web applications has always been a bit tricky, normally starting a web server for your application and making real HTTP requests to it. Test::WWW::Mechanize::Catalyst allows you to test Catalyst web applications but does not start a server or issue HTTP requests. Instead, it passes the HTTP request object directly to Catalyst. Thus you do not need to use a real hostname: "http://localhost/" will do. However, this is optional. The following two lines of code do exactly the same thing: Now when stable release is out it's time for cleaning some stuffs in Catalyst packages. This package is beginning of libcatalyst-modules-perl cleaning. libcatalyst-modules-perl will contain only packages from Catalyst:: namespace which are actively developed. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
