The only difference between the distros it is that debian ships with a valid
cert so psql enable ssl transfer by default and Arch no, and the difference in
speed it is the speed penalty that ssl imposes to the query, i have tested using
PGSSLMODE environment variable to disable and psql gives me comparable time in
the two machines, sorry for the invalid bug.
