this will result in the following error:
WARNING: can't make graphs as required.
Install GD.pm or disable this option.
Please add a suggests or recommends for this package.
There are and have been several variants of this package. There's
also libgd-gd2-perl, which looks to be a valid alternative.
Both the regular libs provide a pseudo package 'libgd2', but the perl
variants currently don't have a similar provides.
