Package: aalib1 Version: 1.4p5-25 Severity: important The patch applied from bug #315419 to export only aa_* symbols breaks the documented aalib API, since save_d and mem_d are not exported. This breaks the GIMP plug-in.
It's also debatable whether the other foo_d symbols should be exported, since though they aren't explicitly documented, some programs may rely on those symbols being there.
