Package: apache2 Version: 2.2.3-4+etch6 Severity: wishlist It is not possible to install several different apache2 mpm modules at the same time because they conflict with each other (they all provide "apache2-mpm" and they all conflict with "apache2-mpm").
One might want to run several instances of Apache on the same machine, and some instances might need to use different MPMs. I suggest that the different MPMs of Apache should use the alternatives mechanism instead of conflicting with each other. -Phil -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages apache2 depends on: ii apache2-mpm-worker 2.2.3-4+etch6 High speed threaded model for Apac apache2 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
