Hi Guus, I think we can safely close this bug. It turns out the latest beagle release (0.0.11.1) requires gmime 2.1.13 but can't use 2.1.15. Beagle CVS requires 2.1.15. So if anyone is interested in using beagle in debian will have to:
1) use the ubuntu/hoary libgmime packages (2.1.13) w/ stable beagle release (0.0.11.1) (*) 2) use beagle CVS w/ your packages 3) wait around until the next beagle release Cheers, Carlos (*) I use this method, but use at your own risk.
