Given the number of modules that are shipped as bzip2 archives, I'd tend to make bzip2 a Depends: of m-a (rather than only a Recommends:). (Very) quick stats to back up my claim: | $ apt-file search /usr/src|grep tar.bz2|wc -l | 69 | $ apt-file search /usr/src|grep tar.gz|wc -l | 18 Mraw, KiBi.
