I'm not able to reproduce this error when remote-displaying xcircuit from a sparc to an x86 system, so it seems unlikely that it's an endianness problem. Graham, is the error also reproducible for you if you try to display xcircuit from powerpc to a remote machine? -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
