Package: mp3check
Version: 0.8.0-4
Severity: wishlist

One of the errors that mp3check can report is that the last frame in the file is truncated.

I would like an option to fix this, by simply throwing away the truncated frame (but keeping the id3v1 tag if it exists).

I have found that I can do this with a hex editor: Find the last occurrence of "ff fb" in the file; delete this and everything following it, up to and excluding the text "TAG". I know very little about the mp3 format, so that method may not be completely correct... but it seems to work.

Thanks
