Ñ previous versions of "html2text -ascii" produced N~ where now it produces either a question mark "?" or a latin1 char, according to LC_CTYPE (apparently). It'd be good if the -ascii option continued to force ascii output. (Does -ascii also now do something to the input charset? It'd be good if input and output settings were separate, at least to the extent html2text is able to have different inputs produce different outputs.) -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages html2text depends on: ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.3-3 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.3.3-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 html2text recommends no packages.
