Package: wicd
Version: 1.5.9-1
Severity: normal

Hello, I installed wicd on my OpenMoko to which I was connected vi usb. The
installation took the route via USB away, so I did not like it much. I then
logged in to my other Linux installation on the neo and chrooted to the Debian
partition for the removal of wicd. This is what happened:

r...@om-gta02:/# dpkg --purge wicd
(Reading database ... 16760 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing wicd ...
Purging configuration files for wicd ...
Reloading system message bus config...Failed to open connection to system
message bus: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No
such file or directory
invoke-rc.d: initscript dbus, action "force-reload" failed.
dpkg: error processing wicd (--purge):
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 wicd

In my view this is a bug. It should just work.

Thanks and regards

Steffen
