2009/2/7 Niko Tyni <nt...@debian.org>: close 478409 thanks
stupid PEBKAC. /lib/libdl* was symlinked BADLY, to an old version from 2005, making most stuff using dlopen() and futexes crash horribly. As such, I made a foreign lenny debootstrap to compare notes, so to speak, and thus found the culprit, and fixed the symlink. Suggestion: maybe check the files, including symlinks, to make sure they're OK, during upgrades like this. Probably too much to ask, since how does say aptitude know if you've switched versions? There's no real meta-data like that AFAIK. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks for your attention, and have a good day. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
