Suppose that I am copying the big folder ~/source to ~/target. During the long copy operation I change the permitions of ~/targed to be non-writable. This leads to the following error message: Unable to change NSFileGroupOwnerAccountID to '0' - Operation not permited with file: ... <OK> <Cancel> When I press any one of the buttons <OK> or <Cancel> the Operation.app is no more responcible and I have to kill it.
