Hi Michelle,
let's try to get the corefile then, when I see the bug, I will be able
to tell you if it's reproducible or not on lenny :-)
to get the core file we want mutt to crash, does it happen often? are
you able to reproduce this regurlarly? Anyway, before you launch mutt
you do the following command:
ulimit -c unlimited
this will remove any limitation on the size of the core file (which is
not generated by default), then you launch mutt and try to reproduce the
core file. You may want to do that command on your .bashrc, so anytime
you use the shell (if you use bash) it will set the core file size to
unlimited.
Anyway, when mutt crashes it will create a .core on the dir where you
launched it, you do a bzip2 filename.core and attach it to the bug :-)
Be careful, the corefile could contain your imap password, so after you
attach it I advise to change your pass.
For additional privacy, if you want, you can send the core file only to
me, it depends on you :-)
Cheers
Antonio
