1° /dev/hdc is my CD burner & /dev/hdd is my dvd player. I sometimes had
difficulties reading some CDs on my dvd player (corrupt data...) which passed
on my CD burner.

2° As this was not very frequent, I did not investigate the matter further

3° The test. It got stuck in D after making 8 polls (4 times each drive). The
last message displayed was "detect disc on /dev/hdd". So, faulty hardware is
likely the cause of all this.

Thanks for your work,
