Package: fglrx-atieventsd Version: 1:8-12-4 Severity: normal I found that atieventsd fails to load at boot when running selinux in enforcing mode. It works properly when enforcing is disabled. This has been difficult to debug as running /etc/init.d/fglrx-driver after boot, with enforcing enabled, does work as expected. A grep of /var/log for "atieventsd" does not return the error altough I get output to the console during boot that atieventsd failed to load. Perhaps the relevant selinux policy entries just need to be worked out. If so I don't know if this would be a bug in fglrx or in the selinux policy files. Either way I would appreciate any suggestions on how to further debug this issue as it would be nice to have atieventsd compatible with selinux.
