Package: dh-make Version: 0.47 Severity: normal Hi,
Lintian 2.2.1 now spits out a new warning: Copyright-refers-to-versionless-license-file http://git.debian.org/?p=lintian/lintian.git;a=commit;h=930db650f5e6aae3bcfdbdacc50f342d1c2f59a7 This bites dh-make, which points to /usr/share/common-licenses/GPL for the default Debian packaging license. Since it would be a big debate if we should point at GPL-2 or GPL-3, this seems like a good time to consider implementing a test that licenses a package in the same way as upstream, as seen in: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=484131 or that does not put in a license by default.
