Now I've installed

ii xserver-xorg 1:7.4~5
the X.Org X server
ii xserver-xorg-core 2:1.5.99.902-1

on lenny and it works quite well. The only problem is that the
keyboard layout is en and not de.
Part of my xorg.conf:

Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
        Driver "kbd"
        Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
        Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
        Option "XkbLayout" "de"
        Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
EndSection

So de should work, but does not.

Best regards

Peter
