ia32-libs-2.7 comes with an older libjack0 than shipped with native unstable. So if you try to run 32bit jack clients against the native amd64 jackd server from unstable (jackd supports this kind of operation), the protocol versions don't match and a connection isn't possible: JACK protocol mismatch (22 vs 24) cannot complete client connection process Updating libjack0 in ia32-libs would fix this problem. Note that unless using an old jackd server, no 32bit jack client would work at all. That's why I chose severity "important".
