Package: wpasupplicant Version: 0.6.6-2 Severity: normal
I am trying to set up a WPA-enabled ad-hoc network between two Debian Lenny boxes, one with rt73usb WiFi on 2.6.27.4, the other with iwl4965 on 2.6.28. My wpa_supplicant config: network={ ssid="MySSID" mode=1 proto=WPA key_mgmt=WPA-NONE pairwise=NONE group=TKIP psk="MyPSK" } Although I specified mode=1, wpa_supplicant sets the WiFi device to managed mode and thus the connection does not work. This happens with both wpasupplicant package 0.6.4 (lenny/sid) and 0.6.6 (experimental). If there is any workaround, please tell me!
