Package: dbconfig-common Version: 1.8.40 >From an installation of request-tracker3.6:
dbconfig-common: writing config to /etc/dbconfig-common/request-tracker3.6.conf *** WARNING: ucf was run from a maintainer script that uses debconf, but the script did not pass --debconf-ok to ucf. The maintainer script should be fixed to not stop debconf before calling ucf, and pass it this parameter. For now, ucf will revert to using old-style, non-debconf prompting. Ugh! Please inform the package maintainer about this problem. The offending source line seems to be dpkg/common:513. The ucf change that introduced this diagnostic just migrated to lenny: ucf (3.0012) unstable; urgency=low [...] * [26a61b8]: Start issueing a diagnostic if ucf is forced to not use debconf If ucf is called without the --debconf-ok switch, and debconf is started, issue a diagnostic, and use old style promping on the command line. This is a policy violation, and soon the non- debconf prompting shall be removed. -- Niko Tyni nt...@debian.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
