I'm afraid it's too late in the release cycle for changes of that magnitude to make it into lenny. I'll package a newer upstream release once lenny has released at the least. I may have a chance to get a newer version into unstable before that, but I'm not sure at the moment. To say this explicitly, the target in general for the OpenAFS packages in Debian is to keep them working with the current kernel in Debian. If one builds one's own kernel, one may have to also build the module from source; due to release freezes and just the pace of development, I often can't keep up with upstream kernel releases. It's been challenging even to keep up with Debian kernel releases. -- Russ Allbery (r...@debian.org) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
