Hello! Sorry for the noise. Indeed this is fixed in the gnus package. Thus closing and archiving again. However, I'm also cloning this bug for emacs22, as Emacs has Gnus bundeled these days, and this is the version I'm using, but the fix is not contained in that version of nnmaildir.el. Emacs people, can you please merge in the nnmaildir.el changes that are in the gnus package but not in the emacs22 one?
