My machine locks up if I enable the fglrx-driver so I can't give you the
response of modinfo.

I ACK with Daniel Moerner, actualy I do not see a kernel module.
Could you boot in failsafe/rescue mode and just hit modinfo fglrx?

Sorry, time for me to feel a bit foolish. When I upgraded to 8-12-4 (as part of a system upgrade) the previous module must have been removed. I've just built and installed a new one using module-assistant and everything seems fine now.

So this bug can be closed now. Again - sorry.
