Aha, interesting. There's probably no easy way for debconf to
determine if those non-free codecs are present and generate
mplayer.conf based on that info (at least it sounds complex)? I'm just
saying that most people won't know about vfm=ffmpeg and will continue
to see the line

"You need to upgrade/install the binary codecs package."

in the future too.
