Ok.  Unfortunately, these backtraces are incomplete due to stripped symbols
in the smbd binary, and it's impossible to debug further if the bug is no
longer reproducible, so I'm going to go ahead and close this report.

If you start having problems again, please install the samba-dbg package so
that we can get a solid backtrace of the problem.

For future reference, when you said writing to a share from DOS, do you
mean DOS literally, or a Windows shell?
