Package: xscreensaver
Version: 5.05-3
Severity: important

When I run 'xset s off', after the 3 minutes that I've configured
xscreensaver to start, it starts even if 'xset s off' has been run. Also,
I have brightside running so that if I move the mouse pointer to any of
the corners of the screen, xscreensaver would also be disabled. This
is not working either. This began in the last few days and I don't know
what's causing it.

As a side note, mplayer does not disable xscreensaver either. If this
is not an xscreensaver bug, but instead the xset program or brightside
program, please let me know if I need to file a bug for those packages.
Thanks so much.
