When you choose "Add Printer" in the CUPS web interface, you should
see the printer models supported by Gutenprint after you choose
your printer make. For example, if you choose Epson, you should
see a large list of Gutenprint drivers for all of the Epson models
it supports.

The package installation process should have restarted CUPS to
make it reread the list of available drivers. Try restarting
CUPS to see if this makes a difference.
