Package: etckeeper
Version: 0.25
Severity: normal

There is a report in Launchpad, which reports that an empty
directory (/etc/mysql/conf.d) has been deleted by
etckeeper/git and made MySQL fail to start.

While the blame is really on MySQL for failing to start with
an empty conf directory, etckeeper/git should not remove
(empty) directories in the first place.
