Package: libpst
Version: 0.6.25-1ppa1
Severity: normal

Upstream Evolution has added a new plugin -- pst-importer -- for Evolution
2.26, currently available in trunk 2.25.90.

This plugin depends on libpst >= 0.6.17 from http://www.five-ten-sg.com/libpst.
This fork was selected because it supports (1) a shared library, used by the
plugin;
(2) Outlook 2003 and 2007 PST formats.

I have packaged a first try for libpst-0.6.25, and built Evolution trunk
against it, and tested the plugin.

refs:

1. www.five-ten-sg.com/libpst : the repository for the new fork;
2. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208426 the upstream bug report
with the details on
the plugin;
3. https://launchpad.net/~hggdh2/+archive the experimental (still to be
refined) package for libpst-0.6.25.

Thanks.
