I just tried (vanilla 2.6.28.1 whit .config file copied from the debian 2.6.26 kernel), sorry if it took me a while, it's been like 2 years hadn't compiled a kernel the debian way. The result less than spectacular, the microphone does not work. I can hear what I say in the headphones but alsa based audio application only hear silence :( Do you have any suggestion? Like any special parameters to pass to the snd_hda_intel module? I tried with options snd-hda-intel model=vaio in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base but it didn't help Cheers, Michele > > Cheers, > Moritz > -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
