Hi, I did some more testing, the bug is reproducible in stable (mutt 1.5.13-1.1etch1. I also ruled out the possibility that it was due to gnupg, the bug is reproducible with both gnupg 1.4.6-2 (stable) and gnupg 1.4.9-3 (testing), so it's most likely a mutt problem. I can't test against the 1.5.17 because it was removed by the debian poll but we know for sure that the bug is fixed in the 1.5.18-4. I'll do some more investigation into the code and then we will see if this bug can be resolved.
