Package: sbnc Version: 1.2-8 Severity: normal Hi, The sbncGetBaseName (should be named sbncGetBasePath but it's not important) make some basic parsing on argv[0]. But if argv[0] looks like "sbnc" without a leading '.' or '/', BasePath stay NULL and the prog crash on the strlen. >From now, I see 2 ways of solving this : - Use /proc/self/exe, but it seems way too linux specific - Do some PATH parsing (like todo comment say)
If this is not planed to be done, please just add something like: else { fprintf(stderr, "Please use absolute path for starting sbnc\n"); exit(EXIT_FAILURE); } Thanks.
