reassign 512398 debian-cd
thanks

this is possible since quite some time.

if you want to replicate the 'windows' behaviour, do:

configure local boot as default,
set timeout to 60s (or whatever you feel appropriate)
set the menu hidden option,
and set the boot text to 'Press button to boot from cd' (or whatever you
feel appropriate).

as soon as sombody presses a key, the menu appears. he then can choose
in the menu to boot from the cd instead of the default hdd.

if you want to do it the other way round, do:

configure install as default,
set timeout to 60s (or whatever you feel appropriate)
set the menu hidden option,
and set the boot text to 'Press button to select install type or boot
from local disk' (or whatever you feel appropriate).

as soon as somebody presses a key, the menu appears, he then can choose
in the menu to boot from the local hdd instead of the default d-i target.
