Package: libmtp7 Version: 0.2.6.1-3 Severity: normal Hi, I have a Sansa Clip revision 2 that is not recognized by libmtp.
My device is Bus 005 Device 040: ID 0781:7434 SanDisk Corp. Note that the Sansa Clip listed in the libmtp udev file uses :7432 I tried adding the USB device IDs to the udev file, and then device nodes are created, but mtp-detect segfaults: libmtp version: 0.2.6.1 Attempting to connect device(s) Device 1 (VID=0781 and PID=7434) is UNKNOWN. Please report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development team PTP: Opening session [1] 24029 segmentation fault mtp-detect I'll try the version from experimental now. Judging from the web site, I'll still need to add the device IDs, but maybe mtp-detect won't segfault anymore. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libmtp7 depends on: ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-13 userspace USB programming library Versions of packages libmtp7 recommends: ii udev 0.125-7 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo libmtp7 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
