Package: acpi-support Version: 0.109-10 Severity: important On an ASUS notebook, I managed to get the wireless interface working. The only trouble right now is causes by conflicting of acpi-support and acpid packages. When only "acpid" package is installed, it seems to work as expected. The problem in this case is the non-functional "brightness", "volume up, down, mute" acpi buttons. If the "acpi-support" package is installed, these buttons work ok, but the wireless has the radio disabled. It is caused by the fact, that the script "/etc/acpi/asus-wireless.sh" is called twice. Since it does just the "toggle" function controlling the radio, it switches it on and off again. Sometimes, the LED blinks one time which ensures this opinion.
