Package: dovecot-common
Version: 1:1.0.15-2.3
Severity: normal

Running '/etc/init.d/dovecot reload' currently sends a USR1 signal to the
dovecot master process. According to
documentation, and confirmed in practice, this only makes dovecot reopen its
log file descriptors. To make the reload
command perform the expected action of reloading dovecot's configuration files,
a HUP signal should be sent instead,
again according to the dovect man page (and confirmed).
