The lenny packages (2.5.7) were on my box before installing 3.1.1-3 from
experimental
The old gmond.conf and gmetad.conf files were left in /etc, while new
files were created in /etc/ganglia
Maybe the old files should be moved to /etc/ganglia and renamed, e.g.
gmond.conf.dpkg-old? They are not declared in the conffiles:
# cat /var/lib/dpkg/info/ganglia-monitor.conffiles
/etc/init.d/ganglia-monitor
/etc/ganglia/gmond.conf
Although I do notice /etc/gmond.conf is still mentioned in the file list:
# cat /var/lib/dpkg/info/ganglia-monitor.list | grep etc
/etc
