I installed eeepc-acpi-scripts: ii eeepc-acpi-scripts 1.0.10 Scripts to support suspend and hotkeys on the Asus Eee PC laptop and set up the extended desktop in /etc/default/eeepc-acpi-scripts: COMBINED_DISPLAY_SWITCHES='--mode 800x600 --above LVDS --auto' I pressed Fn+F5 to activate the extended desktop. I can move the mouse on both displays as expected. However, when I try to move a window from the external display to the laptop display because the mouse is not allowed to move outside the external display when moving a window. A window which is halfway displayed on external display and halfway displayed in internal display is displayed as expected. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=hu_HU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=hu_HU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages icewm depends on: ii icewm-common 1.2.35-1 wonderful Win95-OS/2-Motif-like wi ii imlib11 1.9.15-7 Imlib is an imaging library for X ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libesd0 0.2.36-3 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Shared ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libgcc1 1:4.3.2-1.1 GCC support library ii libice6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libsm6 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Session Management library ii libx11-6 2:1.1.5-2 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxft2 2.1.12-3 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxinerama1 2:1.0.3-2 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxrandr2 2:1.2.3-1 X11 RandR extension library icewm recommends no packages.
