Why are you doing that? I know someone (Clint?) has reported some problems using dash as /bin/sh I think, but I can't find the bug report for that now. I was atleast under the impression upstream was looking into it, no idea if it was fixed. Did ubuntu have many problems switching to the libtool 2.2 version?
