I've let upstream know about this bug.

Return char is definitely against upstream style guidelines; either
krb5_boolean or krb5_error_code.

The krb524d daemon has been dropped from MIT Kerberos in the next
release, but I still think there is a bug here.  The keytab code and
the kadm5 library code need to be consistent.
