I tried to reproduce the problem I reported.
Still no unattended-upgrades manpage is present.
Maybe you could write on by cut-n-paste of the
/usr/share/doc/unattended-upgrades/README file.
Maybe the documentation should be only the manpage and not the README
file to avoid duplication?
