Package: alsa-utils Version: 1.0.16-2 Severity: important When auto- configuring my soundcard, alsaconf choose snd_als300, but puts "index=0" as a parameter for the module in modprobe.d. Since snd_als300 doesn't support that paramter, alsaconf can't load the module. After removing the option index= and loading the module, my soundcard worked.
