Recommends: are installed by default. If you deactivate them, then that's your choice. And they are displayed when using apt-get, for example. Btw xfprint4 is *not* required for mousepad to work, so that's clearly not a dependency. Recommends: is exactly what it needs. Cheers, -- Yves-Alexis
