Well, the next v1.1 version gives this error in such situations:

dovecot: Jan 13 13:08:37 Fatal: imap-login: Corrupted SSL parameters
file: /usr/local/var/run/dovecot/login/ssl-parameters.dat (delete it and
also the one in /usr/local/var/lib/dovecot)
