Without a fix for the regression noted in #482826, no new version of this package is likely to be eligible for inclusion in Lenny. Even with that, I doubt the release team would be terribly happy with us adding new 'untested' functionality and/or a new binary package at this stage in the release. So the short answer is no, sorry, there is not much chance of that. The longer answer is we're also waiting on things that will only be fixed in later xorg releases, which also won't happen until after Lenny, and as I inferred previously may well change how applications should interface with this altogether. Until we know how that is going to look, I'm a little hesitant to add something that people may depend on, only to see it disappear again shortly. If you also have a use for this, please do get involved upstream on the linuxwacom lists, so that we can make sure your use case is well catered for in subsequent releases.
